Abstract

When we study Arabic, we encounter many problems, both from teachers, students, facilities, etc., such as lack of mastery of vocabulary, difficulty in pronouncing Arabic, difficulty in memorizing Arabic texts, and difficulty in constructing sentences using Arabic. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research in the form of descriptive and analytical and the results are described in words according to categories to obtain conclusions and collect data. This research was conducted using the following methods: observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were class VIII teachers, and the targets of this research were class VIII students of Aik Badak Gulu Community High School. The aim of the research is to clarify how to teach Arabic, to find out what problems there are in teaching Arabic, and to find out solutions to the problems of teaching Arabic at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Aik. Central Matingi Vegetable Gulu Rhinoceros, South Tapanuli Regency. The results of this research are that problems in teaching Arabic in class VIII at the Aik Badak Gulu National High School consist of problems faced by teachers, namely lack of student interest and interest in teaching Arabic, lack of enthusiasm for teaching students in carrying out education, lack of students' understanding of the importance of teaching Arabic, and the lack of student practice in speaking Arabic in the educational process, and the problems students face are lack of vocabulary skills, difficulty in pronouncing Arabic, difficulty in memorizing Arabic texts, and difficulty in constructing sentences using Arabic .
