Application of the Hiwar method to improve learning outcomes in Arabic language learning Class VIII students at Madrasah Tsanwiyah Uswatun Hasanah Labuhan Batu

Abstract

Teaching using the lecture method makes students lazy to learn. The aim of this research is to find out how the hiwar method is applied to improve the Arabic language learning outcomes of class VIII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Uswatun Hasanah Labuhnbatu and how the hiwar method can improve their learning outcomes. This research is quantitative research, namely to explain the application of the hiwar method to improve Arabic language learning outcomes. Data collection techniques are using tests and observation. The research results show that the use of the hiwar method can increase results by 22.47%, namely with details of pretest 55.46, post test I 69.34, Post test II 71, Post test III 77, 93. From the results of this research it can be concluded that the Hiwar method can improve Arabic language learning outcomes by implementing it regularly and continuously.
