Abstract

Learning during a pandemic from online to offline transitions has many supporting needs. One of them is learning media in terms of the use of laboratory equipment. Students who received online learning during the pandemic certainly have never directly used laboratory equipment. Thus, most of them are not familiar with the initial use of tools such as saws, drills, PLCs, and 3D printing. This study uses a combination of R & D methods for module manufacturing and experimental methods as a response to module manufacturing for students using a pre-experimental design with the scope of a one-shot case study [5]. Taking responses to students by giving treatment by giving operational instrumentation modules to some groups of students (the treatment group). The SOP instruments and media used in the study have been validated by experts, namely the head of laboratory sublabs. Data analysis used the slovin formula, then analyzed using a Likert scale. The results of physics student responses have positive and very positive criteria with an average point of 79.48%. Thus, it can be concluded that SOP laboratory supporting media is appropriate to be used as a support for learning in the laboratory.
